Dear colleagues, academics, practitioners and research students,
It gives us great pleasure to inform you that the Institute of Economics – Skopje, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje is organizing the Second International Summer School in Econometrics, 11th – 16th September 2025 in Skopje. The International Summer School features two individual workshops in Econometrics. Both workshops will be held by the renowned professor in econometrics, Mustafa Özer, PhD, from Anadolu University, Eskişehir, Turkey.
This summer school is an excellent opportunity for a wide variety of professionals and students to gain valuable insights into quantitative and econometric analysis focused on practical applications that are relevant in macro- and micro-economics, and other fields such as tourism, political science, sociology, education, forestry and agricultural economics. The focus on applied regression analysis will give participants hands-on experience with real data and real analysis. By learning econometric methods and applications, participants will develop their analytical skills and the capacity to build the kind of predictive models that enhance decision making when faced with uncertainty in real world contexts.
2 ECTS credits for each workshop
Participants in the International Summer School will have a chance to earn 2 ECTS credits per workshop i.e. 4 ECTS credits for both workshops.
Free publication of paper in the international scientific journal Economic Development
Participants will be granted free publication of papers in the international scientific journal Economic Development. Papers submitted for publication shall be a final result of participants’ work (group work) during the International Summer School workshops.
